Maryia Lackansingh Announced as 2025 Northern Virgina 40 Under 40 Honoree

Leadership Center of Arlington and Leadership Fairfax are pleased to announce the 2025 Northern Virginia 40 Under 40 honorees. These outstanding individuals under the age of 40 were selected for their remarkable leadership and contributions, both professionally and in their communities.  

Maryia Lackansingh was nominated and honored for consistently going above and beyond to ensure the positive success of our roles as code officials in the code industry. Her collaborative approach and willingness to help others have been instrumental in raising the profile of our industry goals. Maryia is passionate about fostering and developing the next generation of code officials, and her leadership has been vital to the growth of Women in Code Enforcement and Development of Virginia (WICED in VA). She is a recognized code enforcement and development leader due to her commitment and contributions.  

The 2025 Northern Virginia 40 Under 40 honorees were celebrated during a virtual event on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, and at an in-person reception at Fogo De Chao – Tysons, Va.  

“This event is a yearly reminder of the amazing leaders in our midst. These 40 honorees are dedicated to their fields and stand out in their care for the community. We are excited to celebrate their achievements and impact,” said Lisa Fikes, President and CEO of the Leadership Center of Arlington.

Each of these 40 honorees has demonstrated exceptional commitment to their work and a deep-rooted passion for making a difference.
